Trailer for my new movie

really good trailer. kept my attention pretty well. only suggestion i have would be to get rid of the blue lines. they seemed a little out of place and for lack of a better word, corny.

Looks good! I would also agree, however, with Jarrad on the blue lines. Other than that, it was pretty well done!

Thanx to you also Jarrad J & BryantStanton for your compliments. The lines are actually purple, YouTube distorts the pictures a bit. But we were just playing with some effects. Not sure right now if we will keep them.

good trailer! i agree that the lines should be removed. i also think that the shot of him jumping in to the van was used too much. i think it was used 3 times. other than that it looked good.

i really enjoyed that man, well shot! Colours, even though it was compressed, still looked nice.

one thing i would liked to have seen would have been some close up shots of the characters. I anticipated after the elevator doors opened, before the line was delivered, a nice over the should closeup on the "villains" face would have been nice :)

Great stuff!

liked it to good work red , good work , what u edit on and ur lighting set up ,and what u use for CC ?? , also love for u to put up a dowloadable trailer on here less compressed so could see it better and download it , how long it take u to film red ?? and ur actors sound good.

peace n luv

when is this movie coming out. I would love to go see it. It reminds of the Jamie fox movie "Bait" and Will Smith's Enemy of the state. Keep me posted.

Mark Dog: Thanx for your feedback as well. We edited on Final Cut Pro and actually we've only cut the trailer. Cutting of film will start officaily in the next couple of days. CC was done in Final Cut Pro as well. As far as lighting goes, we used mostly 650's and a 4 bank Kino Flo. Filming took almost two months, we just finished a couple of days ago. It was pretty much a two man crew for most of the shoot. Since most of my other friends have day jobs, we shot during the week as well as weekends. My buddy worked camera/lighting and I worked the boom and directed the scenes. It was the hardest project I've ever done, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I can't wait for someone else to give me a break, so we create our own breaks. As far as the actors go, they were the best. They gave it their all, we had a real good time filming. I hope I answered all your questions.

I agree with you on the close ups. We were tight on time and also paying a lot of $ for the location so I had to cut some of my shots. Thats why that scene is only played in a master shot.

We just wrapped production a couple of days ago, so editing is has not officailly begun. But we do have a couple of distribution meetings already lined up, so hopefully you will see this film sometime this summer.
