Ha.. I just watched the full vers... the very last frame of the last shot is so great. What's behind those bushes to make the car jump up like that, a giant spring or something?

Good camera work and color timing too.

He used a ruler and some tape and took his time making sure it looked like a real car. It's a toy car. =)

Bushes are added in, and he added something on the windshield (I believe) to make it even more realistic.

Georgia represent!!!! Every time I see work from the GA, it's always good.

Keep it up, man. Hopefully, I'll add to the list of great Georgia creators (though I moved to CA a almost a year ago from there.)

Link's working! Sorry about that.

Naw, nothing was added on the windshield- I had a clear piece of plastic that I'd dappled black paint all over, so that it cast tiny little patterned shadows onto the car like leaves. LOL. Held that with the other hand.

is all the work done withe dvx andy , tel us what not dvx and what is please

What school do you go to? Do they teach you stuff like the special effects or have you learned it all your self.
can you post a link to the movie about floating. Or anything eles you got.

Well judging by the address on the link to the movie file and his location does say savannah georgia. He goes to SCAD or Savannah Collage of Art and Design. I know cause I went there for a year but flunked and ran out of tuition money then a year later I go to AAU or Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Savannah Georgia is a dead ghostly little town....

Savannah is peaceful... some people might even say it helps you go to school for the reasons you GO to school.

Then again, I guess it could stifle creativity, that's when you trek to Atlanta. =)

<3 Georgia.

Yep! I'm a student at SCAD right now. It's a great little school... except it's getting overcrowded. Anyways, I'm NOT a visual effects major, so all the stuff in the demo reel I've just kinda had to figure out how to do (otherwise I probably would've known how to do the effets shots with proper software, etc). I kinda like it that way though. Keeps creative juices running. :-)

But Savannah's cool. Actually, "ghosts" are a really big thing here. There are trolley tours that take you to all the most haunted buildings.

Oh, and gear... almost everything was DVX, save for some of the penny movie ("Levity") which was shot about half DVX/ half DVCPRO 25 for various reasons. I have a glidecam which is used a lot, and a cobbled-together $50 skateboard dolly made from parts bought at Wal Mart and Home Depot. Light are mostly halogen worklights, also from Home Depot (again with the exception of Levity, which used Arri 150s that I'd borrowed from the school).

Yep!

Nice real, it's good to see someone who uses their education wisely. I've seen alot of people go to schools like SCAD that don't produce quality results.

Keep up the good work!

I've been wanting to check out the ghost tours up there in Sav, I live an hour below in Jax.
