Zwiss Plate Zacuto and QRC dual Plate ABauer

I cant to find a proper way to attach QRC Dual Plate in Zacuto Zwiss Plate holes! Any of you here has same power layout for F3? How do you solve the problem, doing additional holes in Zwiss plate at your own? I cant believe it.

Why do you need both plates? Why not just use the QRC, and attach it to the rails?


That said, when I had a similar issue, I had a local machine shop make me a custom plate to offset the holes for mounting. In my case they drilled about 5-6 holes, three of which were counterbored, and it cost about $110 and was done in a day. Took them less than an hour or two of work.

The holes circled on the attachment should be the holes for the QRC Dual Plate. Let me know if you have any questions or problems- Mandy at Zacuto mandy@zacuto.com

Thanks a lot! viddovation and mandy, finally I got the proper holes to attach AB plate in ZP back (opposite side from Zacuto brand). A very helpful insight from Zacuto was Rachel Kenton. The brand side match with KPMini holes. I was a bit scared for a couple of hours, the device is ready to shoot now!!
