A while ago i saw some use a transition that looked as if the camera zoomed into the subject really fast with a "tunnel vision effect". Im not sure how to describe it any better
i cant remember if it was a vegas or premiere user that i saw use it. and i think it was a free plug in. if anyone has any idea what im talking about, could you point me in the direction to getting this transition for vegas or premiere because i cant find it.

-Thanks

Re: Zoom transition.

What about using the Zoom effect then adding a Wind Blur filter on top of that. In Final Cut Pro 4 there are several types of Blurs you can use.

Re: Zoom transition.

I think the thread you're talking about is:

PurposeDriven mentions the Trapcode Shine effect.

But recently I put together a really really nice looking version of an effect like that just with a radial blur. It actually looked more realistic than the Trapcode version... which had more of that crazy insane-o !Xtreme! feel to it. If you don't have the the 'Shine' plugin you'll probably be able to get a quite similar effect with any sort of 'glow' plugin mixed with the radial blur. The effect is almost subconcious, and doesn't really have to hold up to great scrutiny/subtlety.

When I get a chance I'll post a clip of my version of the effect.
