Zoom Switches not functional--manual only. ???

All of a sudden my zoom switches aren't working--I'm in manual zoom, which is interesting, but I want to know how to enable the auto switches. Or are they busted? Confused.

Make sure you didn't flip the servo/manual zoom switch on the front of the camera.

If you're talking about the zoom rocker switch on the handle, then try the number 1 or number 3 position as the #2 position doesn't zoom (default that can be changed).

Make sure your zoom switch (near front) is set to 'servo'.

If you're in manual zoom, as you say, then the power zoom switches won't work. They're only for when you're in power zoom mode. When in manual, you control the zoom by turning the zoom ring.

That's right... he said he was in manual zoom. Of course, then, that is all he will get.  ::)

BTW, what's that clicking sound? ;D
