Zoom sticking!

I'm having issues with the zoom on my HVX. At times, not constantly, it will stick. I'll frame a shot... then begin to pull out or push in to follow action and the zoom won't move. Has anyone else run into an issue similar to this? If so, were you able to resolve it? Yes, I've checked the manual/servo switch and everything is okay there. I can get the zoom to move again after causing it to go in the opposite direction I originally intended.

is it not dirty, maybe this is too simple but 1 piece of sand can stick it.

This has happened once to me too... It was working fine before I took it into panasonic to fix my battery mount, but when I got it back, I was having zoom issues..

What did you do to solve the issue with the zoom? Or, are you still experiencing it?

it's only happened once while I was using it and once while a colleague was using it, so I'm not really sure...

opening and cleaning is the only way i think. Blowing a camera clean is not a very good option. You only blow dirt further into the camera. Before you know you blow dirt behind de lens. You don't want that.
