I didn't have much luck using the search feature (even just looking for zoom levers in general on Google), so I thought I'd go ahead and ask. It says in the manual you can remove that little pin on the zoom ring and add something longer to improve smoothness and control. What size threading do I need, and what sorts of options do I have? I'm thinking there has to be something at Menards or some hardware store that would screw into and work just fine for pretty cheap. What do you guys use or what would you recommend?
 
I haven't taken mine out (I'm afraid it will loosen permanently and I will never find it again.)

But if you've taken yours out, you can measure the threads/diameter yourself. If it's a standard-size thread, a hardware store may have a machine screw to fit it.
