zoom lens focus question...

[811productions]

Just wondering if anyone knew of, or is using any zoom lenses that maintain focus through the entire range? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The term you're looking for is "parfocal". You should be able to Google "[brand] parfocal lens" and get some kind of list. e.g. I just did that for Canon and found:

And since we're in the GH1 forum, I should note that the 14-140mm kit lens is pretty close to being parfocal.

If I remember well, the Canon FD 35-105 f 3.5 two touch zoom lens is parfocal. And it is not expensive.
