I was just made aware of the following product coming out from Roland systems:
http://www.rolandsystemsgroup.dk/products/100093
A handheld field recorder at the mere price of just over 400 dollars.
Some features:
- build-in microphones at the top like the zoom, however, you can set these to either directional or omni.
- It has two xlr slots in the bottom, thus enabling it to run 6 channels at the same time, ie. 3 times stereo.
I think holding off with buying a recorder just made sense to me.
Could any of you hardcore audiophiles check the specs of it and tell me if my excitement is justified?
