Zoom H4N question

Sorry if this has been discussed but it looks as if the h4n has an xlr input. Is it possible to then use the zoom to capture audio from a wireless lav or stick mic and monitor and adjust levels in the zoom through headphones?

Actually has 2 XLR inputs - you could capture from a wireless lav AND stick mic AND the built-in stereo mics, and monitor and adjust levels in the zoom through headphones.

If you are using a zoom H4 or H4n you should read this on audio drift. These are my results on sync for a 1hr take

Something else to note. You can plug in a third mic via a stereo 1/8" jack on the bottom of the recorder. You lose the onboard mics but it allows you to use a boom and two lavs which I find incredibly useful.

There are also line inputs on the device as well for instrumentalists and what not.
Great little device. It's so inexpensive you can have multiple if you want more than two XLR inputs!
