Looks pretty cool. Especially for $99. Records 24bit/96kHz. Apparently it's the same audio-wise as the h2, just in a way smaller package. Runs off a single AA battery, and takes SD and Micro SD cards. Has 1/8" audio in and headphone jack. Might be good for those DSLR users with Rode Videomics. I might have to pick one up if i ever shoot another wedding. It's a much cheaper solution for picking up vows than a wireless kit, and small enough to hide.

I remember a year ago I seriously joked with a couple of film geeks about Samson making a half brother of the H4/H4N recorder with a combo jack on the bottom. A la Wii remote.

If this came in white, it would be hard sorting through the pile of Wii remoters.

Now, for that combo jack...

That could potentially be a great back up recorder.

correction: looks like it just records to microSD, and not regular SD as well. That doesn't really change a thing as far as i'm concerned. for just $100, you can bet i'm getting one.
