zoom focus technique

is it possible to focus well with the DVX by zooming all the way in on a focus chart, manually focussing, then zooming back out? I've done it with some other cameras, just wondering if the DVX can do it?

yes.. if your "back focus" is out it sometimes doesnt work.. but usually thats how people do critical focus.
