Zoom Equivalents to 35mm

[Blade Borge]

I read this thread about zoom equivalents to the DVX and 35 cinema lenses. Would this information hold true to the HMC150?

Looking at the chart in the HMC book--looks like the factor is about 7.2x for 35mm still photography, so yes.

It's 28mm to 366mm lens in a 35mm equivalent.

The op asked about 35mm cine. That's not the same multiplication factor as 35mm still film. For cine film, I think it's about 4.4, so the dvx's range is about 18-180 in terms of a 35mm cine camera if I did the math right.
