Zoom Angst

Today I was struggling to get the HVX zoom to work correctly. In Servo mode when I zoom in to Z55 and then release the zoom control the lens slowly zooms back out to Z04.2; everytime.

I checked through the menu settings to try and find a way to eliminate the problem but was unable to correct the problem.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions on how to sort out the problem.
 
I have the same problem and posted about it. No reply from anyone yet.

It like the zoom suddenly has a mind of its own. I thought it might be a low light issue.
