Zombie Prizes Announced

For the extra stuff you cut it together, and then export is as a 4:3 cropped to 16:9 AVI. Put it on DVD or Minidv and send it to me, and I will put it on the DVD. Ill pay for postage.

Wow, thanks Overland. I'm definitely going to be jealous of whoever snags that set. What's the Racer X series about, it sounds interesting.

I'm completely buried on the Racer X series right now, and the website is a real mess. Suffice it to say that Overland Films is pleased to be included with the other sponsors in this groundbreaking contest! Zombie... groundbreaking... there's a joke in there somewhere.

On this new Discovery Channel series, we've been putting Sony 900/950 CineAlta cameras and the Z1U on our Hi-Hat boards for low-low shots using Bogen's new 529B with great results.

Here's a link to our Hi-Hat board page for anyone interested in seeing what they're about.

As part of the Zombie Festival prize package, we're also including a set of four pieces (1 each FULL, HALF, QUARTER & PANCAKE) of our Applebox Classic stand-in boxes. So it's a five-piece kit to add to the winner's grip kit.

Good luck to everyone, I can't wait to see the entries!

Discovery Channel is following Roush Racing as they conduct their [somewhat] annual nationwide talent search for a new Craftsman Truck Series driver. The program is set to become the premier HD (1080i... sorry!) series for Discovery Networks.

Kurt Busch, Greg Biffle and Todd Kluever are prior winners of "The Gong Show", so it's a big deal for up-and-coming drivers in sandlot racing series.

We're under an NDA, but you can read lots about the show here: Racer X Series Information (Roush PR)

Thanks Barry,

I appreciate your comments. My post was not meant as a flame as the first reply seemed to imply. This was the first email I've received from DVXUser regarding a contest and since Rob Zombie's film is just out, it all just seems like too much zombie for me to swallow. I can appreciate the love of this genre, but I'm bored with it.

On another note, this forum has been very good to me and I've learned bucket loads (not of blood) from it. So keep up the good work and keep sending out emails to let us know where we can view the contest winner.

Thanks,

T-

The Devil's Reject's has nothing to do with Zombie's so you know and more importantly, Rob Zombie isn't a real zombie. It's just his stage name.

thats it, lets just shut this whole fest down, too much saturation in the media. No more prizes, no more gallons of blood.

And especially no more hot, topless coeds running down dark alleys.

sheeesh, what were we thinking?
