Zi8 H4n Combo Rig

No idea where to post this so I went with the DSLR even though the Zi8 is far from the DSLR cams. Anyway, what I am wanting to do is combine the H4n recorder and Zi8 camera into one rig. Ideally the H4n would lay flat with the mics pointed at the subject and then the Zi8 would sit on top of it in a standing straight up position. Basically they would make a 90 degree angle...
Any thoughts on what to use to build it?
I am doing table interviews with clients daily and want to start recording the meetings for archive. I don't want to have to put a lav on the subject so just the built in mic of the H4n is all I would have for audio. I would put the Zi8 in 720 probably just to save file size a bit.
thanks guys

they use the same size screw (1/4 20 i believe). just find one that's threaded on both ends. you'll have to flip the h4n, so your tracks will be backwards, but just flip them in post

and just thinking about it again, i realized i am probably going to want some sort of tripod even if it is just the little short leg style just in case i need to tilt to adjust for height and what not...

that setup probably wouldnt work then. but you'd flip the tracks because the zoom would be mounted upside down, causing the left and right stereo tracks to be recorded backwards (assuming you're using the built in mics). the left mic would point to the right and vice versa

nothing special but it worked for us... i like the idea here, i need to figure out if there is a way to attach this setup to a tripod though to make it more mobile... the dash of cars and a table setting would work but really should have a tripod for versatility...
