I finished building my Zeppelin last night and thought you guys would get a kick out of this beast. It's a full 18 inches long and is way huger than my camera.

I took some pics of the construction process if anyone is interested, just say the word...

construction begins

cut rings from the PVC (3 inch diameter) and I ended up needing 4 rings....

measure the length i need from the rail...

attach ring and gutter guard to one end (worked on one end mostly, the pointing end of the microphone.

attach the hair ties (my girlfriedn is cussing at me)

I just finished mine. Just over 20 inches. It looks like a dead cat with the fur on it.... I still have to make the mount for my gitzo fishpole.

I basically used everything you have there........looks good.

I have a Gitzo fishpole too and only just realized after attaching the microphone mount that it was the wrong size for the gitzo. So right now I have to wrack my brains to come up with a way to mount some kind of adapter between the two....
