Tried googling this lens but seems to be MANY versions & mounts... I heard a common problem is lack of infinity focus.... have to do some modifications. That sucks. Anyone have this lens and also if it vignettes on FF?

I think there are adapters available for every mount. I have the M42 mount version and Im using a cheap M42 to EOS adapter for my 60D/550D. It is a Full Frame lens so there isnt any vignetting on a FF camera. In fact only on FF camera you ll get the real fisheye effect, if thats what you want. On a crop sensor the effect is much less, although still evident as you can see on my video at around 02:15 http://vimeo.com/20071278.
It is a great lens in my opinion with good built quality and smooth rings.
I havent notice any problem with infinity focus, but as you mention that I ll check it out...
