I have been trying to look into these but I cant seem to find the information that I'm looking for. I guess since I keep seeing them on dvxuser im just wondering if these are marketed towards film makers and not photographers? Are they better glass then the canon "L" series lenses?

I haven't used the Canon L glass, so I don't know the answer to that question. I do know you can adapt F-mount glass to more cameras than Canon glass. For example, you can mount Nikon F-mount lenses on a Canon camera with an adapter, but you can't mount Canon glass on a Nikon camera.

These ZF lenses I'm selling are still lenses that have been modified to be more cinema-like. The aperture ring is declicked so you can have more options for the stop you set it at and you can do iris/aperture pulls. The focus gear rings have been added to allow you to use a follow focus to set and pull focus. Those make these more ideal for filmmaking than some other still lenses.

Zeiss Zf glass is better than Canon L glass. They are "brighter" and have better micro contrast. They are sharper!
