I am putting together a set of Zeiss primes and decided to go with the 50mm 1.4 over this f2 macro. I jumped the gun without truly consulting my partner on an upcoming project and the extra speed will be needed on the 1.4. It is a ZF.1 lens which is the same optically as the newer versions, just does not have the chip to allow newer nikon bodies to "communicate" with it.
Optics are perfect, focus moves flawlessly. Comes with front and rear caps and lens hood. Cosmetically the lens is in great shape, however there are 3 super tiny pinpoints on the focus ring from mounting a gear for a follow focus. I have mounted other gears on there with no problems, it is purely cosmetic.
Asking $850 shipped in the US.
