I am selling the last of my Zeiss ZF set (the 21 and 35 are sold). This 25mm is basically perfect both cosmetically and functionally. I misplaced the tiny steel f-stop indicator, which is only useful if using the lens on an older manual Nikon body. (You can see the 2 empty screw holes in the second photo.)
I see no flaws in the glass at all. Fantastic color, contrast and sharpness. Iris is smooth and snappy. Focal barrel nice and smooth.
This lens has a Redrock Canon EF mount adapter on it. I had Duclos Lenses modify the lens to be used cinematically with a custom Delrin pressed-on focus gear. It has the filter adapter on the front to use with 77mm filters or a clip-on matte box (80mm O.D. front). I chose not to de-click the iris, as I liked the tactile feedback; the clicks are in half-stop increments. I will include the original lens hood.
Duclos sells these for $1250. Buy mine for $800
Thanks for looking. PM if interested.
