Zeiss ZF.2 vs Nikon AIS Primes

Hey all,

I've been looking into and reading reviews on the Zeiss ZF.2 lenses as I've been considering using them for my AF-100. Right now I have a nice set of Nikon AIS Primes and some zooms and been pretty happy with the results. I have the budget to move up to the Zeiss ZF.2 Primes but really want to know if you guys that are using them have noticed that much of an improvement over the Nikon Primes?

My main focus is IQ and Sharpness, color matching is important too, but I haven't noticed my Nikon's to be too terrible in this territory.

The IQ is only slightly better IMO, with the Zeiss lenses being a little better wide open. Otherwise, I would save up and get cine-glass when you can afford it, rather than spending the money on another set of still glass. The Zeiss glass is good, but if you have a good set of Nikkors, wait till you can afford proper PL glass... that is where you will get the most improvement.
