Zeiss Standard Speed mkI t2.1 / 6 lens set (& Schneider Cine Xenar 75/2) -- $6500 OBO
Up for sale is a set of Zeiss Standard Speed lenses (mk I) and one Schneider Cine-Xenar lens. The Zeiss lenses are a matching set, with serial numbers in the low 6s. All lenses were made in West Germany, and the Zeiss lenses have the older T* coating on them that allow for beautiful flaring. Lenses are in Arri Standard mount, professionally adapted by Visual Products to PL mount.
Zeiss Standard Speeds are being used a lot these days to give digital cameras a more filmic, creamy look. From what I understand, these have the same optics as the mk II Standards, but in a more compact package. These lenses are very lightweight, and would be perfect for gimbal or drone use. I’ve used them on Sony F35, BMCC, BMPCC, and Sony F3 cameras and they really do a good job of taking the digital edge off of the images.
Lenses are in excellent condition, and optically clean. Each lens has maybe 1-2 pieces of dust inside that do not affect image quality (very typical for vintage lenses like these). No scratches or marks on the front or rear elements.
They come with a Pelican 1450 padded case.
