will this lens cover full-frame sensor on Canon 5D Mark II?

Yes it does. The only thing I will say is that the aperture for the Zeiss EF lenses is controlled from within the camera. You can barrel it on the lens itself. That may cause a headache later if you want to use it on a camera that doesnt have electronic coupling - works perfect on the 5dmkii.

I have Zeiss ZF (nikon mount) with manual aperture on the lens, and my thinking was that its also suitable for use then with other camera systems where electronic coupling isnt available.
