I hate to do it, but I am actually selling 4 sets of Zeiss prime lenses, plus a wide Red zoom, a Samurai external recorder and a Sony PMW-F3. Be sure to see my other ads if interested. If you buy the wide, middle and long Zeiss primes I'll throw in a Pelican type case with a Pelican divider set (see the picture.)
This ad is for the three most used Zeiss middle primes, 32mm , 50mm and 85mm (not the other lenses or case). These are actual movie lenses, made for the Arriflex BL movie camera. The images have that great look and uniformity across sets that we've come to expect from Zeiss. The fact that they are movie lenses means they have a long throw unlike many photo lenses adapted for cinema work.
Lightweight, clear and smooth action on the rings. These are superb lenses.
I was told these were used for the hand held shots from the original Ghost Busters. The first aperture mark on the 32mm is T2.2, you can turn the cylinder farther than that. It's marked F2 on the front and it seems to turn to T2.1 for the marking on the barrel.
The second lens is the 50 mm F2 prime with the first barrel marking starting at T2.2. This one also turns past the T2.2 marking and seems to be T2.1 and again has a wide focus throw.
The third lens is the 85mm F2. Notice that all three of these lenses are marked T2.2 but turn to T2.1. These and the wides started out as one set and with Zeiss that means uniform imaging.
The lenses are PL mounts and Duclos has added uniform size focus gears, uniform 80mm sized fronts, Arriflex caps and PL caps. Duclos did their usual great work. They have not been declicked, but since they are cinema lenses the click is very fine. Matt Duclos told me it is a different mechanism than photo lenses. If you look on Ebay the Vintage Lenses company does this adaptation for $1,400 per lens.
I'm asking $8,000.00 for these three fantastic lenses, the most often used lenses I'm selling. Remember if you buy the wide, middle and long sets I'll throw in the case, divider and give you a discount.
