Hi guys,

I've just added a wide-angle zoom to my set of CZ.2 zooms, so no longer need my wonderful 21mm Zeiss CP.2 (and the joys that come from switching from 95mm mattebox backs to 114mm mattebox backs every time I swing to a wide lens!).

It has a PL-mount and imperial markings.

I probably shouldn't sell it, since I re-bought this one almost immediately after I sold my first one (and instantly regretted doing so). It's just a lens that makes everything look pretty.

Lens is in excellent condition, I had it serviced last year and it's working a treat. Here are some recents shots I got with it:

Do you really need the money from this sale? You know a zoom doesn't always make up for a prime and as soon as it goes out the door someone will walk in with a job that needs it. So the question then becomes, would you replace it with something else if you needed to buy that focal length again?

Do I need the money? No, not really. Am I wary of letting go of a lens that's yielded such consistently great results for me? Yes, I am.

But I have 21mm (and wider) covered by a zoom now, and having consistent 95mm front ends across my lenses makes an appreciable difference for my ACs. So, before I overthink it, I'd rather have it gone - it's one less box to transport, it's a little less for my insurance premiums. I try to keep my kit streamlined where possible.
