Can anyone tell me the correct part number for the Slide plate that will accomodate the 1/4 20" and 3/8" screw setup on the bottom of the AF100? As I understand it the baseplate only includes the plate with 1/4 20" and a camera pin.

Thanks!

Also- any recommendations on what rod length extensions I should get? I was thinking 7"- My concerns are this: Are the 12" alone long enough to accomodate a matte box on something like the 14-35 f2? If not, will 7" extensions show in the frame at full wide?

The Zacuto T-Slide with 1/4" and 3/8" tapped holes is part Z-004. It is the same one that comes on the bottom of the Universal Baseplate for tripod mounting.

FWIW, I've added 2 ZR-004's to my baseplate. One on the top so I can put two screws into the camera, and the second on the bottom so I can put two screws into the tripod plate. I prefer to have a little redundancy wherever I can.

The ZR-003 plate has a 1/4" threaded hole and a registration pin. The ZR-004 plate has a 1/4" threaded hole and a 3/8" threaded hole.

The Universal Baseplate does have one ZR-004 t-slide plate in the bottom, I added a second one so I can have two screws into the tripod plate. Having two ZR-004's lets me put the two screws far apart. Guarantees that the rig won't rotate on the tripod plate if it's bumped, and won't fall if one screw gets loose.

The AF-100 does have two mounting holes, one 1/4" and one 3/8" plus the registration hole. Although the registration pin stops rotation of the camera, I like the security of a second screw into the camera. Don't want it hitting the ground if a screw gets loose. So, I put a second ZR-004 in the top plate so I can take advantage of the extra 3/8" mounting hole in the AF-100.

BTW, I don't represent Zacuto. Just a satisfied customer.

And a merry Christmas to me. Santa is bringing me a Uni Baseplate V3, 7" Extensions, two ZR-004's, Red Rock Micro Lens Support, Lexar SDHC/CF reader, and a rainbow imaging dumb EOS/MFT mount =)

Should all get here on the 24th.
