Please forgive me if I missed a thread about this question but I had a good look and couldn't find any definite answers. Has anyone used the combination of DVX200 and the Zacuto Gratical? I read that it could be in some cases that the Gratical doesn't show if the camera is actually recording. In other words, does a record light or timecode show up in the Gratical? I would connect most likely via SDI and record internally.
Alternatively has anyone tried the Gratical - Atomos Shogun combination? I would plug into the down converted SDI port of the Shogun in this case. Again, is there a recording confirmation of any sort? I already had some emails to the helpful people at Zacuto but they couldn't give me a definitive answer either. They haven't tested the DVX200 in that regard. Another alternative would be the Small HD 502 with Sidefinder. Has anyone experience with this combo?
