*Caution*

I recently purchased a lens from Matt here of Stance Media.
While Matt claims the lens is "optically perfect" I feel if he were forthright and fairly described the condition of the lens I simply would not have bought it.

I contacted Matt, expressed my displeasure, offered to cover shipping expenses to return the item. What followed were a lot of excuses, interruptions, and the constant repetition of the phrase "optically perfect".
Eventually Matt hung up on me. I'll let you guys be the judge (please see photos).

Not only is the lens dirty on the inside, and marred with swirls on the outside, it's probably one of the single dirtiest lenses I've ever come across.
If you want to sell this on ebay or Craigslist, that's one thing, but to pull the wool over the eyes of your fellow forum members is just smacks of insult.

Enjoy it :)

Bill,

You can send $770 total make sure you cover the fees. People are having
to resend money since they haven't been covering fees. If you Gift the money
it doesn't require extra but if you cover the fees the total would be $793.10.
PayPal charges 3%.

Send it over to suchodolski.m@gmail.com and let me know when it's sent.

Thanks

Hey Matt that sounds great.
Will you go $750/Paypal?
If so, tell me what's reasonable for shipping and I'll include that (I'm guessing $20).
Thank you,
Bill

Thanks for the pics.
Just two quick questions:

What shape is the body in (I couldn't tell from the photos)?
What part of L.A. are you in?

Thanks,

Bill

Bill,
Attached are pictures of the Zeiss 85, it's optically perfect and renders images
beautifully. Comes with box, please let me know if you are interested in purchasing.
Currently has a UV filter which would come with the lens however, it also has a zip
gear attached and fitted perfectly, if you wanted the gear it would be a minor bit
more.

Thanks

Matt,

Assuming the 85mm Zeiss ZF is in great shape and you can provide a few pics, I'm very interested in taking it off your hands.

Sorry he's not happy, but it's as described and have sold plenty of items with plenty of positive feedback. I will not accept something back from someone who's
upset and irrational, it's bad to receive bits and pieces instead of the perfect item you sent.

This picture demonstrating issues is a shame, please show pictures of it being used...yeah perfectly described zero issue. Without a flashlight backlighting it's impeccable...
