Hello Everyone,

Looking for info on how to put the AF100 LCD/Viewfinder info out of HDMI to my Zacuto EVF.
(I am looking for confidence recording in the viewfinder w/o looking at the LCD/Viewfinder

Here is the clencher, I need the SDI to be clean so I can use my NanoFlash.

Thanks for any assistance.

I believe you are correct. There needs to be a firmware update. With all the new EVFs coming out, it is a real pain to keep looking down, moving your head, etc. to see if you are recording.
Hopefully Panasonic will listen.

The Nano already does this for you. It puts a red line at the bottom of the screen when it's recording. Don't plug your Zacuto into the HDMI of the AF100, plug it into the HDMI of the Nano and you'll have what you're looking for.

The Nano may be able to output a 60i signal. Look at the E-to-E option and see if it can be changed to allow for a conversion there...

I built a tally light using an old Nano start/stop cable. Deleted the time code line, deleted the big Nano start/stop/tally button. Wired-in a tiny, red LED. I tape mine atop the camera body, but you could position one inside your viewfinder, too. I bet that Rick at Nanoflash.net could make one for you.
