Zacuto EVF and FS100's HDMI output?

I've just updated my Zacuto EVF with the new Firmware 2.01.01 which includes the following updates:

-Adds support for 480i (frame lines disabled)
-Fixes a bug in 1080p25 detection

However, I'm still unable to monitor my FS100 when I set the HDMI output to 1080p. The Zacuto screen just goes blue, and "no signal" is reported... Only when I revert back to PSF at 1080/50i does the EVF work correctly :(

Is it just me, or do other share the same experience with this combo?

How odd. I will check. Right - probably not quite what you wanted to hear: I am still on 2:00:00, and I get perfect renditioning of my 1080/25p viewfinder. That's with the Video Out on HDMI/COMPONENT set to 1080p/576i.

HDMI TC is on... 1080/25p is in FX mode... all pretty standard?

Hi Matt,

Exactly the same settings here, and yet no 1080/25p monitoring :(

PS. My HDMI cable is 1.3c - good enough, isn't it?

Are you sure you are outputting 1080p to your EVF Matt.
Or is it 1080i. It's obviously recording in progressive but the signal
out is the question. I know my Zacuto EVF does not like to have a 1080p
signal from my FS100. Will double check if it has changed with the
firmware patch however. I do know it never liked it before though.

Matt, are you suggesting Zacuto spoiled in the 2.01.01 what they fixed in 2.00.00? Quite possible - I never had 2.00.00 installed, went straight to 2.01.01 from some older firmware... But then: is it possible to downgrade? Also, I'd be grateful if you sent me the file, as it's not available for download from Zacuto any more :)

Just tested mine on Firmware 2.00 and set the output to 1080p.
It results in a disproportional image. Perhaps I'm off base and not quite
on topic. If so I apologize.

Deffo set to 1080/25p on output. Should have snapped with that menu up (lateness of hour). Maybe a hardware reset? To reinstall or reset factory defaults? I know the FS100 was particularly one of the cameras addressed on the V2 update. The stretch settings on the EVF can be adjusted, IIRC, but I also remember the Zacuyo Support's pride in having cracked it.

Nope, not working here with the latest firmware or the previous.

Interestingly, this is the answer from Zacuto to my enquiry on the problem:

"What the camera records and what it outputs via HDMI is not always the same. Whether you’re recording 1080p25 or 1080p50 the HDMI is outputting 1080p50. Unless there’s been a camera change we don’t know about. Have you checked the camera manual?
