I ended up getting the LCDVF, it's exactly the same product for 60% of the price according to reviews. I'll let you know how it works.

We had a shoot this weekend (two actually) and both were shot out side. I couldn't see anything and had to have the guy who was assisting me hold a bounce card over my camera (7d) to see anything. SO FRUSTRATING. I'm very excited to get this little addition to my kit. And, because I saved 60%, I can get something else!

Not quite the same product. About the same magnification: yes, but same build quality and mounting sturdiness: no.
