I've decided to have the world premiere of FELLINIESQUE PLAYERS in Los Angeles. I need to fill the theater so I can get good feedback of how the movie plays.

FELLINIESQUE PLAYERS is a ... well, felliniesque movie. LOL It's unusual, has a unique structure, and yet compelling as entertainment, IMO :-) I shot the movie with my Sony Z1U camera ... right out of the box. I love the look of the movie. The camera -- my first HDV camera -- did a beautiful job. I believe this is the true potential of digital photography.

There was a script but the movie is essentially a compilation. I looked for the opportunities to tell the story that I wanted and made some interesting decisions in what I would include in the movie. For me it's the best movie I ever shot, and that's saying a lot in a forty year movie career.LOL

It was great fun to shoot, and I think it will be great fun for you to see. Email me for tickets: vic@felliniesque.com

Of course, if you insist on paying at the door to support my project, you're welcome just to show up. I will announce the theater where it's going to be shown as soon as I book it.

Thanks for your comments. If you have any recommendations, I'll be very appreciative.

Thanks, Nate. It's going to be a lot of fun. I just hope I won't have to watch this movie alone. LOL So far none of my LA fans have responded from this forum.

The movie is unusual, to be sure. So I know the audience will be entertained. I just need to get the theater house full, so I can get some feedback for re-editing and further marketing purposes.

Maybe I should change the title of the movie? Any suggestions?

I'm thinking of letting FELLINIESQUE PLAYERS play for a week. That way it will be eligible for the Academy Awards. It might be the first movie shot on digital to sweep all the Oscars. LOL

Did I miss a post or did you forget to post the date and location of event? I'm back in production so likeliness of me being free that night not very high but sure would like to try :)... Post info please!!

Thank you, Faith. It will be great seeing you at the premiere. I'm still trying figure out what is the best date. I need to fill the theater as much as I can, so I can get a nice premiere ... that will produce some results too.

I will post the date and location of the screening here for sure.
