Your opinion on NX1 LUT I'm Playing with....

Hey, All. I'm testing a homemade LUT that I created for the NX1 that I'd like to use as a base when delivering footage. My delivery time generally has a quick turnaround, so I'm wondering if I can solicit some of you with lots more experience and sharper eyes as to whether this LUT is okay for delivering to editors in professional situations.

ALSO, if anyone has ideas on this: I also am trying (to no avail yet) to match my C100 settings; I use Shane Hulbert's CP_2 for C100 Mk I. This LUT is getting me a touch closer, but not quite there yet.

Anyway---feel free to tell me if it's a horrible mess. I won't be offended. But I'd just really like to find something that will make the footage pop, particularly since I just love this camera so much and want to use it more often on work jobs.

Settings: DR Gamma

COLOR: Set Green to X0.95 (others at 0)
SAT: 0
Sharpness: -10
Contrast: -5
Hue: 0
WB: white card (or tweak to taste)

Photos of my son on a rainy day in Austin today. :-)

Meh, I'm getting some messy results under tungsten. Be interesting if others chime in. Just know it's hit or miss, y'all.

I think working starting with a Canon 5D MKIII lut and customizing from there is best way to grade for now. I shoot with contrast, sharpness and saturation at -5. I typically dial in the contrast and saturation to my liking.

Interesting...although when I had a 5D I vaguely recall it not quite matching to C100. But of course did not run sufficient tests. Still trying to find the secret sauce.
