Tell me about it. I will always defend The Quick and The Dead. Raimi did vintage Raimi work(almost every type of camera angle/work possible) with big names DiCaprio, Crowe, Hackman, and Stone. It's the type of movie you can watch anytime, any mood, and get camera angle inspiration at the same.

Re: your favorite Western!

I love snap zooms into Dutch tilts. There's nothing that brings a smile to my face more so than that.

Kinda sad, I know, but ain't it the truth! :P

Re: your favorite Western!

I think the Bud Spencer is a european thing! I met Americans who didnt have a clue who he was. I was working woth Bud's son on a movie thought it was cool but my American collegues thought nothing of it . . . imagine!

Or am I wrong?

Re: your favorite Western!

(1) Outlaw Josey Wales
(2) Unforgiven
(3) Open Range

I can't think of anything to say.... damn it. I think I destroyed the last brain cell I had that contained any wit at all. (What evil mind came up with $1.00 draft beer on a Saturday night, I thought that was for 'off' nights only like Monday or something, ouch)

Re: your favorite Western!

High Plains Drifter.

Or Way Out West (Laurel and Hardy)

All together now...."In the blue ridge mountains of Virginia......"

Re: your favorite Western!

1. The Outlaw Josey Wales
2. Il Buono, il brutto, il cattivo
3. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
4. Little Big Man
5. Unforgiven
6. Rooster Cogburn
7. True Grit

jeesh, so many...

Numerous posts on the first page indicate that some people on this forum find chi_red's avatar appealing?...

HOW IS A BALD GAY WEARING A SEE-THROUGH WIFE BEATER FROM THE 80'S APPEALING TO ANYONE?

I'm beginning to think I'm not the one in need of therapy around here. :-*

BTW, does Last Man Standing count as a western?

Re: your favorite Western!

Contact, that is chi_reds 'new' avatar, his old one that got all the attention was.....um...... an extremely interesting study in female anatomy  ;D. I agree, all of the posts referring to it now seem very strange  ;)
