Your desert island combination?

Sorry- not available for sale. Been in the local "filmmaking family" for 9 years now. I finally had them converted to PL maybe 3-4 years ago.

we used them with 2 perf Kinor 35H cameras back in 1996-98...

Care to part with those Lomo HS`s? : )

Honestly Im not really seeing a dream cam. These cams are all to clunky - too badly designed - it would be nice to have something with good ergos - the Amera is impressive but that is all.

Free camera? Id probably take the phantom flex 4k

Of course there is the Alexa 65 too which has a decent size chip.

They go quite well with the F65, as it happens.....

If anyone is interested in a rental, PM me.

Thanks Grug. It's taken a lot of effort and I had to sell nearly every other luxury item I had to get here, but they are beautiful things.

I'm going to be shooting with them next week and I hope the director/producer will let me post a few screen shots.

Really nice set James.

I'm not a Zeiss fan but the Master Primes are as the name implies, master pieces. Many don't realize just how much better they are than even the Ultra Primes in many aspects.

Ultra Primes are very, very over-rated IMHO. They are not especially sharp wide open, they breathe a considerable amount too. In my opinion the nicest thing about them is the mechanics, but the Masters have them licked on that too as they are cam-driven (like Cookes).

Also having seen quite a few tests, Master Primes are not as "cold and clinical" as one would expect. Really, the difference between a lot of lenses is not as big as people think. I feel sorry for Cooke in particular because people keep referring to them as "soft", when really I am sure they are probably as sharp as anything from Zeiss.

I would have bought Cookes, but it didn't make financial sense to me.
