hello all....glad to be a new dvx100B owner and dvxuser member. been trolling around the site for a couple months and have learned a ton from you all. :dankk2: ....anyways i have a couple questions and need some help. going to maui to film a pilot travel show im putting together and i dont know how to travel with the camera. will carrying it on be a problem? security x-ray issues? careful with the dv tape? horror stories i can learn from? any help would be nice.

also, a little off topic, but in interviewing people do i need to write up a waiver for them to sign if im going to try to sell the pilot? i found this amazing resource for all who are looking to do a documentary or the like and need info on "fair use" -

I'm no legal expert, so I'll leave that to someone else.

Definitely carry your camera on with you. Don't check it under any circumstances. You have nothing to fear from the X-rays. Keep the DV tapes away from magnetic fields and you'll be fine.
