You Will Use EVERY Skill You Have

[armisiano]

You will use EVERY skill you have, EVERY thing you've learned in life.

As I child I drew constantly and transitioned to digital art later in life.
As a teen I mixed music, edited audio, composed a little.
As an adult I've begun filmmaking.

Today I edited together my first commercial for a company. I shot it, recorded and edited audio for it, composed music for it, and did some graphics for it, and I realized, you will use every skill you have at some point.

Never stop learning, who knows what else you'll be able to use in the future.

[Richard J. Johnson]

Man that is EXACTLY what I did. I mixed and recorded music well into my 20's and did very well with it.

Now in my 30's I have jumped into filmmaking. And I have used almost everything I have learned in the audio field and applied it to film in some capacity.

Of course I also have mastered Pacman, Space Harrier, Dragon's Lair 1 and 2, and Space Ace. Those skills I don't use too much anymore.

I use algebra daily. I'm still waiting to use my knowledge of how a Bill becomes a Law.

Here. THIS ought to help clear things up for you.

That's how I passed the test. Seriously. We had to write out how a bill becomes a law. I wrote the lyrics down verbatim.

But I still haven't used that information.

WHAT!? Common! You KNOW there's a script in there somewhere.
