You play in low light? Say hello to my little friends!

When Andy told me he wanted to do this, I told him I'd buy him dinner if he did. So he did it, and I bought him dinner. We went to an organic burger joint and, although I don't know what he got, I had a turkey burger with some sort of jalapeno mayonaisse on it, and it was delicious.

Shot with a HMC40, Opteka fisheye, and a Manfrotto 501HDV at 720p30 with a 1/30 shutter and upwards of 20db of gain...

That didn't look bad at all for 20+ db of gain. I avoid more than 12db on my HMC40, but hey... when you gotta get the shot, you gotta get the shot, and it looks like you got the shot.

I'm honestly really surprised that it came out as good as it did. I know that if I'd still had my VX1000 or FX7, I wouldn't have even bothered taking the camera out of the bag.

This is a great example of compelling footage negating whatever flaws there are in the video. And FWIW, that looks pretty good from a cam that folks say can't shoot in low - no light.
