You know it's an 80's movie when...

Wilford Brimley is in it:

I love Molly.

And let's not foget, the action hero somehow always new where the villian was without much explanation, example: Invasion USA. Chuck Norris had the ability to just know, then drive a truck through something and get the badguys.

Speaking of which another great staples of 80s action films (I've seen most) is driving cars, trucks or general road vehicles through things. And don't let me get on the old A-Team and Knight Rider TV shows. Kitt had to be able to fly, we just didn't know.

let's not forget the DANCING!!!!

Anything can be done within a 1.5 min montage.

I'll give Kathleen Turner points for not becoming an aged freak of plastic surgery like so many others.

Amen!!! She still looks human, interesting, and unique. Unlike the increasing number of Barbie dolls we're seeing on film and TV.

I'll give you human...She hasn't become a duck lipped freak but man, I've never seen someone hit the wall so hard and so fast. Another WTF happened to her was Linda Rondstat--

Linda may no longer have the looks she once had, but I listened to an interview with her on public radio a couple or so years ago, and she came across as someone who's really got it all together and is living a life that she finds a lot of value in. I'm sure it would have been possible for her to maintain the looks of her younger self, but if that had come at the cost of her own personal happiness, it would not have been worth it.
