Yet another Hollywood gem often forgotten.

Perhaps he is referring to the Wachowski Brother and Sister. Larry's changed his look lately--

I don't care if one Wachowski looks like Donkey Kong and the other Wachowski looks like Betty Boop, as long as they still make some good films.

LOL...I'm still pulling for them. They get a lifetime pass from me for the first Matrix movie.

Don't forget Bound. I thought that was a great little noir flick. And the Matrix sequels/Animatrix weren't too shabby, especially compared to a lot of the superhero and action films that came after.

I'm usually not one for prequels, but since we've already seen it in short form in The Animatrix, I'd like to see the Wachowski Duo make a live action Matrix prequel feature film based on the rise of the machines in The Second Renaissance.

I still think that Bound is hands-down their finest film. Not to take anything away from The Matrix but Bound is just an absolute gem.

Bound is great too...but I don't watch it every year like The Matrix. There are great films and then there are films like The Matrix that are cultural touchstones.

Of course it's subjective but for me there's nothing in Matrix to compare to the final lines of Bound -

You know what the difference is between you and me, Violet?

No.

Me neither.
