Yet Another FCP 24p Capture Preset Question :)

I shot in 24p (normal), letterboxed (no squeeze). I want to create a DVD and also clips for the web.

I will be editing in FCP 6. In addition to the footage I shot, I would like to add several scanned in photographs.

Can someone recommend a FCP capture preset and a sequence preset so that I can get the best look out of my footage? (I'm somewhat shakey still on 24p footage.)

I'd actually like to know this also.

I've been searching around for weeks looking for an answer. I too, am shaky on figuring out proper settings to get the best look out of the camera.

Anyone care to share some knowledge?

With 24p standard in FCP, you capture as standard NTSC DV. You won't be able to edit as 24p unless you run it through Cinema Tools to remove the pulldown.

If you want to edit in 24p, shoot 24pA.
