Yet another 35mm adapater Question: When and when not to use?

Sorry to have started this and disappear. Had some stuff to take care of.
Goober-- I could definitely tell when it was straight lensed and then 35mm adapter.
As I said before, I don't think I'd take off the lens at all during filming, but I do understand that you might need the DOF on interior shots.
In regards to using it for "Special purposes", it won't look right I'd think. Doing that in post would be more acceptable I'd think.
