It only took about a day to get everything back up.

It cost about $900. I used my old case, my old DVD-R, my hard drives, and everything else was new.

Not yet... the system's running really nice as is... I think I'll leave it as such for now... Avid isn't too much of a resource hog... we'll see how it handles cutting a feature in a few months.
