Yes...Another Wedding

Hey guys, i filmed this wedding about 6 months ago. Corey is a very good friend of my family and liz is pretty cool. It was the first wedding i ever filmed and i told them i would do it for free and they said sure.

What i didnt know at the time was that they had actually hired some other people to film their wedding. The other people were Dillion and Wade of www.ShortCircuitStudio.com and they were ok with me stealing their job since it was my first wedding, they even agreed to duplicate and cover the CD's.

I finished the wedding video and they loved it so much that they offered me a job, i am now a director of photography on 2 music videos and a runway model shoot. But anyway here is a link to all my videos on youtube, this is all my early stuff, i have videos ive done after this but they have all been entered into festivals and im waiting to hear back about the festivals before i upload them but enjoy and let me know what you all think.

Give it a little time, my friend.

About the video(s), shaky, shaky, shaky...

Tripod, monopod, or concentration is my recommendation. I know it's hard to lug around a tripod at a wedding, as everything is fast paced, but the camera was all over the place. Handheld takes A LOT of concentration in order to get the right shot, and I tell my shooters to not do it unless it's ABSOLUTELY necessary. It's the difference between amateur looking footage, and professional footage. This falls under amateur in my opinion.

Sorry to be harsh, but if I sent out footage like that with my company's name on it, the other wedding videographers in my city (dallas, ft. worth) would eat it alive, and I'd lose clients. And believe me, there's plenty of other videographers in my area that would LOVE for that to happen, as we're one of the best, well known wedding companies out of the 400 or so in the metroplex.

Im not worried about the constructive criticism. I didn't own a tripod at the time and it was the first wedding i had ever filmed. Thanks for the comment

I think it was free... he stated that in the initial post.

Hell, for free you did a great job ;)
