Yellow highlights - here is a solution

The last weeks I was doing research for colour processing.
As I always love, how the Arri Alexa is able to bring out especially
skin tones, I found this very interesting article:

Okay, Art Adams was looking for a way to make his F55 look more like film/Alexa.
But nevertheless I tried to work with his luminance vs. saturation (lum vs. sat) curve
on my FS100 footage in Resolve. What can I say...
It doesn't make your FS100 look like film, no way. But I like the footage so much more,
because it's still saturated and skin tones are still alive without having these nasty
coloured highlights.

Sadly, FCPX has no "curves" sothat you need any sort of plug-in or you use the free
version of BM DaVinci Resolve (lite) to have access to these curves.
I also compensate a little with a bump in overall saturation.

I will highly depend on your picture profile. As I work with Franks G-log ultimate, the
image and the highlights are already desaturated sothat the lum vs. sat curve seems a little
to much. But thats easliy adjusted for your personal needs.
