... and yes, it still works just fine. Forgot I had an Extreme III 4GB card in my pocket. Pants went through the laundry, and the SDHC card got washed. We found it before it went into the dryer.

Let it dry off, tried it, and yep, it works just fine. Viewed the footage on it, then re-formatted it, no probs.

Isn't modern technology wonderful? Idiot proofing may be the best thing engineers ever came up with. Although flash media not getting damaged probably wasn't totally on purpose.

Yeah, if anyone hadn't seen my post, mine went through the water AND the high heat dryer for almost an hour straight. They dryer is what I was worried about. I didn't know if it could withstand those temps for that long.

SD cards are amazing.
