curious as to what the manual focus setting number is for the xtreme fisheye for the hvx

If I'm not mistaken you go to macro focus. Hopefully someone will correct me if I am wrong.

Its usually on 05 for me.

Yes it should be in the macro range. I usually turn the auto focus on for this one thing and then manually dial it in with the focus assist. Make sure you check this from time to time as it can pop out of focus and our beloved HVX LCD isn't sharp enough to tell without really looking and using the focus assist.
