XpressPro 4.5 and DirectX 9.0c ??

Anyone having problems with their Xpress Pro after installing DirectX 9? After I instaled DX9, i can not play anything in Avid. The play icon just turns green, the timeline does not move and i get a static image with no audio. Reverting back to DX8 fixes this.

I believe that is part of the SP2 update which has not yet been qualified.

you're saying SP2 will specifically resolve the problem I described? I assume other people have already installed DirectX 9, I'm interested to hear if they have similar problems.

I think what Michael was saying is that SP2 conflicts with Avid at this time. Fret not, I hear that Avid and Microsoft are working to resolve this problem. I would expect either a small (downloadable) software update from Avid and/or Microsoft very soon. So at that point, SP2 will be Avid-qualified.

But i wasn't referring to SP2. I was asking for anyone has installed DirectX 9.0?
