I'm currently midway through volumous footage for a large sporting event dvd. Still relatively new on avid and could use some help!
I've been capturing fine all week, and just now (with no perceivable cause?) my avid xpress pro system with mojo has stopped capturing. The deck is communicating, avid will play the tape, but no footage appears in the composer. Yes, V and A tracks are selected, input set to DV, all as i've been using successfully literally minutes before it stopped working.
Have checked cable agan and again. When recording anyway the system says: audio/video is unexpectedly no longer coming into the system. After three restarts this changed to communication with avid dna has been lost.
I've had these problems before but i really can't see where the cable is awry.
As i'm based on an island with no other vid/editing people in reach, i would love anyone's help or suggestions.
